Sustainable Content
Proper stewardship is a key focus in the manufacture of today’s flooring.
Our laminate flooring products are produced using wood from sustainable forestry and do not contain any imported tropical woods.
Our engineered wood floors are made only from timber harvested from sustained forests that are managed through strict preservation and replenishment programs.
For our rubber flooring, high concentrations of post-industrial and post-consumer recycled materials go into these products. Our products are Green Circle certified and often contribute LEED® points toward your project.
Recyclability
In addition to the sustainable forestry content, our laminate flooring products are mainly made from waste and cut wood of a defined, high quality. Our wood floors are from a natural, completely sustainable and renewable resource; the ultimate environmentally friendly building material. Plus, the waste wood resulting from debarking and the flooring production process is used to generate energy for the manufacturing facility.
Rubber flooring’s manufacturing process reduces excessive fuel use created through transportation of materials and fossil fuel use, ensuring a beautiful commercial flooring that’s both sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Low Emissions
All our engineered hardwood and rubber flooring products emit low VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and comply with strict indoor air quality requirements in California, under the FloorScore® certification program.
Our laminate flooring products meet or surpass the required formaldehyde emission levels established by regulatory bodies in both Europe and North America.

Our engineered wood flooring and rubber flooring products are all FloorScore® certified. FloorScore is a voluntary, independent certification program that tests and certifies hard surface flooring and its component materials to ensure they comply with stringent indoor air quality emissions.
